Catherine's Cupboard
Catherine’s Cupboard responds to the issue of student food insecurity by providing services to alleviate hunger on campus.
If your computer had issues, you would take it to IT. If you had a sinus infection, you would see the nurse in the Health and Wellness Center. If you needed help paying for books, you would reach out to Financial Aid. If hunger is getting in the way of your student success, we want you to know that Catherine’s Cupboard is here and available for you to utilize! It’s really difficult to pay attention in class, study, learn, remember information, and be successful as a student when you haven’t eaten. Please take advantage of the resources that are available to you!
Tabor House is the location for grocery pick ups. There is a variety of shelf-stable foods, frozen meats and vegetables, fresh produce, yogurt, cheese, eggs, household products, personal care products and diapers. There are several pick-up dates each month, and students can choose which items they receive for their family. Interested students should to RSVP to catherinescupboard@zzsghm.com. Groceries are funded by a grant from the CARES Act, which we received through our partnership with the Montco Anti-Hunger Network (MAHN).
Campbell Hall houses a self-serve pantry with shelf-stable groceries and grab-and-go snacks if students need food between classes. This can be found in the entrance under the breezeway outside of the Chapel. There is also a donation box there if people need to drop off donations. This site is open whenever classes are in session, including Saturdays.
